Sector Junior Applications Analyst

The Sector Junior IT Analyst will have primary day-to-day responsibility for assisting with the general administration of IT documentation, researching application programming interfaces (API) to connect systems and enhance business processes through Power App and Power Automate Development

Job Summary

As a key member of the Construction Sector IT, The Sector Junior IT Analyst will have primary day-to-day responsibility for assisting with the general administration of IT documentation, researching application programming interfaces (API) to connect systems and enhance business processes through Power App and Power Automate Development. He/She will also be serving as the first responder for IT-related tickets, this role involves resolving technical issues when possible and escalating more complex problems to the Sector Business Applications Lead. The Sector Junior IT Analyst will also assist with troubleshooting requests for applications and hardware support and perform other IT-related tasks as needed.

Job Responsibilities

Documentation Administration:

• Assist in maintaining and updating IT documentation, including procedures, user manuals, and system configurations.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to relevant stakeholders.

API Research and Integration:

• Conduct research on APIs to identify opportunities for system integration and automation.
• Collaborate with the IT team to implement API connections that improve business processes.

IT Support and Ticket Management:

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related tickets and support requests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software applications, hardware, and network systems.
• Escalate unresolved or complex issues to the Business Applications Lead for further investigation.

Power App & Power Automate Development:

• Research and create Power Apps and power Automate flows to enhance existing business processes.
• Support and enhance existing power apps.
• Respond to tickets for assistance to any errors on existing apps.

Additional IT Tasks:

• Participate in IT projects and initiatives to support the overall goals of the department.
• Assist with user training and onboarding for new IT systems and tools.
• Perform other IT-related duties as assigned by the IT management team.

Other:

• Promote safety awareness and the development of a safety culture within the company and perform all duties in accordance with the procedures set forth in ISO standards and the Company’s Quality manual and OSHA standards.
• Compliance with ANSA McAl Group Policies.
• Conduct any other related duties that may be assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

• BSc Information Technology or similar qualification
• At least three years’ experience in a business IT environment
• Understanding of APIs and applications (D365, Salesforce ect.)
• Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft D365O, Power App/Automate
• 1-2 years experience in building and creating apps/coding.
