Seasonal Worker – Production, Berger Paints Barbados

The Seasonal Worker works as part of a team in either the Factory or Warehouse (as required) and contributes to the operations of the assigned Department.

Job Summary:

• The Casual/Seasonal Worker works as part of a team in either the Factory or Warehouse (as required) and contributes to the operations of the assigned Department, by performing allocated tasks to meet prescribed targets, criteria and deadlines.

Job Description:

• Ensures cans/tins are labelled in the established standard.
• Assists in the filling and packing of paint on pallets for transfer to the Warehouse.
• Assists in the packing of local and export orders.
• Packs shelves and ensures that cans are neat and tidy.
• Selects and delivers paint for onsite customers.
• Assists in filling and packing of thinners.
• Washes portable and stationary tanks.
• Participates in the preparation and count for the stock taking activity as required. 
• Participates in Training and Development activities as required from time to time.
• Promotes safety awareness and the development of a Safety culture within the company.
• Acts and assists in any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
• Complies with Ansa McAL Group Policies, including maintaining & compliance with ISO and all other required standards.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Undergraduate Degree in a similar field.
• Minimum of five (5) CXC O’Level Certificates, inclusive of English Language and Mathematics.
• Experience in a coating industry or factory environment would be an asset.
