Job Summary
To provide sales support services to designated customers in a prompt and efficient manner to achieve volume sales targets established for designated sales routes.
Job Responsibilities
To ensure that the Sales Targets are achieved by maximizing productivity in Selling, Promoting and Merchandising the Company’s products, in accordance with the corporate brand’s strategies and agreed customer service levels.
To create and submit monthly activity schedule to Sales Manager outlining forecasted meetings, client visits, routes and sales reps.
To create and submit daily and monthly visits, schedule reports to track work activities and monitor client needs.
To ensure all customers adhere to established company policy on terms and conditions of trade, collection receivables and ongoing reviews of customer accounts.
To work closely with designated customers to develop and implement trade and consumer related promotions in respect of all brands
To identify new customers, promotional and signage opportunities within designated territory.
To check customers warehouse stocks, displayed stock and chiller stock, and ensure that the FIFO system is established at customers.
To ensure that exclusive Display Chillers and Display Shelves are restocked with the company’s product and use of other display facilities is maximized.
To arrange the immediate removal of all defective, damaged or past due products from display and customers' premises. To coordinate the clearance of surplus empties from all designated customers.
To handle all customer complaints promptly and efficiently and advise the Sales Manager of any trade-related problems that exist or may be developing.
To monitor and report on all or any competitive activity in the trade, collect samples if appropriate and promptly advise the Sales Manager of such activity.
To promote a positive image of the organization to the public through the effective and efficient manner in which duties are executed.
To gain consumer conversion by explaining brand features, advantages and benefits whenever the opportunity arises. To utilize approved promotional incentives to promote consumer trial.
To keep the assigned vehicle clean and in good operating condition, to prevent unscheduled repairs and downtime and to follow company policy directives regarding safety.
To perform any other related duties as may be required by the function.
Qualifications & Experience
At least wo (2) A 'level subjects.
Diploma in Sales or Marketing.
At least three (3) years' experience in the field of sales.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Good selling and interpersonal skills.
Honest, diligent, well organized.
Computer literate in MS Excel and Word, and use of email and accounting software.
Ability to handle basic accounting functions efficiently.
Valid Driver’s Licenses (Light Motor Vehicle and Heavy T).
