Job Summary

The Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales performance through the promotion of the company’s security services, supporting revenue growth initiatives, and strengthening relationships with existing and prospective clients. The role focuses on executing approved sales strategies, identifying customer needs, client acquisition and contributing to market growth activities.

The incumbent serves as a representative of the organization, supporting brand visibility, client engagement, and business development efforts at both local and regional levels.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the organization at client meetings, industry events, and networking engagements locally and regionally.
  • Support initiatives aimed at increasing brand awareness, market presence, and service visibility.
  • Act as a professional point of contact for clients and external stakeholders.
  • Execute approved sales plans and initiatives in support of organizational revenue and growth objectives.
  • Promote the company’s range of security services to existing and prospective clients.
  • Identify opportunities to expand service offerings by assessing client requirements and operational needs.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients to support retention and long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, site visits, and follow-up engagements to secure and maintain business.
  • Engage with businesses, partners, and stakeholders to assess service needs and support collaborative opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support the planning and execution of marketing and promotional initiatives.
  • Assist in the development, review, and alignment of promotional materials including brochures, website content, and social media assets to ensure consistency with brand standards.
  • Monitor market conditions, customer trends, and competitor activity to support informed sales approaches.
  • Prepare sales-related reports, forecasts, and performance updates as required.
  • Work closely with Operations, Administration, and Human Resources to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Support internal coordination to ensure client expectations are met in accordance with service agreements and company standards.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in sales, business development, or a related field, preferably within the security or service industry.
  • Experience supporting sales growth, client acquisition, and market expansion initiatives.
  • Prior experience within a service-based or security-related industry is preferred with exposure to security services such as static operations and cash-in-transit (CIT) is an asset.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities (KSAs)

  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and effectively manage client relationships.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective negotiation and relationship management capabilities.
  • Ability to assess client needs and recommend appropriate service solutions.
  • Sound judgment with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Work Environment

  • Office-based role with regular travel to client sites, meetings, and external engagements.
  • Flexible working hours may be required based on business and client needs.
  • Collaborative team environment with a focus on achieving organizational objectives.
