Sales Representative 

The sales representative must have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships, closing deals and meeting or exceeding sales targets. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with excellent communication skills, who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way.

Objectives of this role

  • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products and services, and markets in which we operate
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies
  • Generate leads and build relationships by organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers
  • Develop and implement action plans using comprehensive research, data analysis, and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field

Responsibilities

  • Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service and support
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential new sales opportunities
  • Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all assigned categories
  • Be able to conduct demos and handle objections
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations
  • Must have the ability to travel
  • Ensure any customer problems or complaints are professionally resolved expeditiously

Required skills and qualifications

  • Three or more years of sales experience, including B2B sales
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • A Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or the equivalent
  • Proven success rate at levels above sales quota
  • Must own & operate a reliable motor vehicle
