Retail Sales

Purpose of Role:

To create new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and enhance sales of chemical products across various industries, including supermarkets and other establishments.

 Principal Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory or industry sectors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Present, promote, and sell manufactured products to prospective customers.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
  • Collaborate with the technical and logistics teams to ensure product availability and client satisfaction.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and expand client base.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.

 Key Competencies:

  • High level of Integrity, Initiative, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Structured approach to assigned tasks with the ability to deliver within tight deadlines.

 Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field.
  • 1-3 years of sales experience, ideally in the chemical or industrial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of chemical products and their applications across various industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

 

Working conditions

  • Extensive travel within designated areas.

 The right candidate will own or have constant access to a reliable motor vehicle.
