The Sales Executive will be responsible for soliciting business on the Company's behalf by building and maintaining customer relationships; while driving growth, maintaining brand visibility and maximizing profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Sales Executive will be required to plan and implement sales activities in assigned territory.
  • Foster and enables a trusting ‘customer and sales rep.’ relationship by executing regular visitations, order taking, issue resolutions and the overall prioritization of customer satisfaction.
  • Has the gravitas to grasp the Company’s growth agenda and implement these strategies in the field while maintaining a competitive edge.
  • Optimize the distribution of products by seeking new accounts, retaining and maintaining existing ones.
  • Expeditiously resolve customer complaints and queries.
  • Required to explain product features and present, promote and sell company’s products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Must meet sales goals and targets
  • Keep abreast on best practices and promotional trends
  • Will be required to process damaged goods upon store visits (i.e., writing off goods that have been damaged or expired)
  • Supply the Sales Manager, the Managing Director, the Marketing Manager and the sales team with reports on customers’ needs, problems, competitive activities and the potential for new products
  • Will work closely and liaise with designated merchandiser/s to ensure goods are always present on the store shelves
  • Must be able to analyze market and industry trends, threats and potentials and communicate these to management

Job Specification and Qualification:

  • At least five (5) CXC subjects including English, a business or numerical subject
  • A Diploma would be an asset
  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative/Merchandiser for at least two (2) years
  • Has experience in the retail or Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
  • Has a reliable motor vehicle.
  • The role requires someone with a demonstrable track record of successfully growing sales in their region year on year.
