As we expand, we are hiring a Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and build a structured, high-performing sales function. This is a leadership role with direct responsibility for generating revenue while developing the systems and team that will scale the business.
Position Summary
The Sales Manager will:
• Drive generator sales to commercial and industrial clients
• Increase recurring revenue through maintenance and service contracts
• Build and document the company’s sales strategy and processes
• Develop and lead the future sales team
• Establish measurable KPIs and performance standards
This role requires both production and leadership. The successful candidate must be able to close deals while building structure and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Business Development
• Identify and pursue opportunities across commercial and industrial sectors
• Conduct site visits and needs assessments
• Prepare accurate, professional proposals
• Negotiate and close profitable deals
• Develop long-term relationships with contractors, engineers, facility managers, and procurement teams
Sales Systems & Structure
• Develop a repeatable sales process
• Build and manage a strong pipeline
• Track and report on activity, conversion rates, and forecasts
• Contribute to pricing and margin strategy
Team Development
• Assist in recruiting future sales representatives
• Establish performance standards and KPIs
• Provide coaching and leadership as the team grows
Performance Expectations
The Sales Manager will be measured on:
• Monthly and quarterly revenue targets
• Gross margin performance
• CI generator units sold
• Maintenance contracts secured
• Pipeline growth and forecasting accuracy
• Documented sales systems and reporting standards
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years proven B2B sales experience
• Experience in technical, industrial, mechanical, or energy-related sales is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to close high-value deals
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills
• Process-oriented and disciplined in follow-up
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to conduct site visits
