Overview: Our client is one of the leading Technology Solutions providers across the Caribbean Region. With offices in most territories, the company can offer robust regional solutions to sectors including finance, government, and retail. Due to growth, they are seeking a proven Sales Manager (will consider non-I.T experience) to manage the team based in the Antigua office.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • The achievement of financial and other targets as determined through the sale of assigned products and services in assigned territories.
  • Responding to requests for information, quotations and proposals and ensuring same are completed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Supervising, evaluating and coaching of Unit’s team members.
  • The timely preparation and submission of accurate reports include pipeline reports, project costs, implementation plans, and estimates required for the Unit’s reporting requirements.
  • The monitoring of expenditures and revenues against appropriate budgets.
  • Identifying new products and innovation and maintaining up-to-date information in the respective market and the company’s offerings.
  • Conducting market analysis and benchmarking studies for various competitor products, giving consideration to price levels, market penetration, tooling and external factors.
  • Identifying and developing opportunities within the targeted market sectors.
  • Supporting the implementation of product and pricing strategies.
  • Developing accurate forecasts for the scheduled closure of sales by identifying funding sources, the scheduled availability of funding and the dates for final decisions.
  • Consulting and developing customer-oriented solutions by providing pre-sales and post-sales support either directly or through supporting Business Units and team members as appropriate to ensure satisfaction of customers and clients.
  • Identifying and developing promotional opportunities for the company’s products and services.
  • Developing and managing relationships with partners and clients by maintaining regular communication with key influencers and decision makers.
  • Seeking out and building relationships within assigned territories and assigned accounts or account types to ensure mutual benefit from the relationship.
  • The management of the entire sales process to ensure minimal receivables exposure.
  • Manage departmental budgets and available resources in line with established company standards and requirements to achieve maximum profitability and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain long-term client and vendor relationships and networks.
  • Prepares and submits required reports in agreed time frames.
  • Assigns work activities and projects, monitor workflow, review and evaluate work products, methods and procedures.
  • Consults with the finance, pre-sales and post-sales functions of the business to ensure pricing, contract terms, customer needs and service delivery align with financial goals, sales strategy, and client satisfaction.
  • Support regional customers by maintaining relationships with partners and sister organizations.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:


  • BSc in Business Administration/Management Studies, or Marketing Management from a recognized institution.
  • MSc in business administration would be an asset.
  • Professional certification in Sales and Business Development.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
  • Documents and visas to facilitate regional and international travel.
  • Experience managing and sustaining business relationships at varying levels.
  • Ability to identify issues and areas for improvement through analysis.
  • Exposure and conceptual understanding of contract law and pricing.
  • Strong commercial acumen and business understanding.
  • Ability to manage both internal and customer relationships.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation.
