The Assistant Bar Manager supports the management of the bar operations, ensuring exceptional service, optimal team performance, and adherence to quality standards. They assist in supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests, all while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Bar Manager in overseeing daily bar operations, including service standards and staff performance.
• Supervise and motivate bar staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
• Assist in training new staff and ongoing development of team members.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any complaints promptly and professionally.
• Support the implementation of promotional activities and menu updates.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and billing procedures.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure staff adhere to alcohol service regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in bar management or supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
• Previous experience working in a luxury or resort setting.
• Knowledge of cocktail preparation, beverage service, and bar equipment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and licensing regulations.
