The Room Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the room service operation, ensuring exceptional guest experiences through prompt, courteous, and efficient service. They supervise staff, manage the room service menu, maintain quality standards, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily room service operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the room service team to uphold the resort’s standards of excellence.
  • Oversee the preparation, presentation, and delivery of all room service orders.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards in all aspects of the operation.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and controlling costs.
  • Develop and update the room service menu in collaboration with culinary teams.
  • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the room service area and equipment.
  • Monitor service quality through guest feedback and team performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and culinary, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Prepare reports on service performance, revenue, and operational issues.
  • Promote a positive, professional environment for staff and guests.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in room service, food and beverage, or hospitality management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and guest relations skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and health regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
