The Blue Line Manager / Telephone Operator Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the telephone operations, ensuring efficient and professional communication services for guests and staff.

Job Summary:

The Blue Line Manager  is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the telephone operations, ensuring efficient and professional communication services for guests and staff. They manage the telephone team, monitor call quality, and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service in line with the resort's standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the Blue Line/Telephone Department.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the telephone team to provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
  • Monitor call quality, response times, and customer satisfaction levels.
  • Handle guest inquiries and requests related to phone services and internal communication.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot communication equipment and systems.
  • Develop and implement procedures for efficient telephone operations.
  • Ensure compliance with resort policies, safety standards, and confidentiality protocols.
  • Prepare and maintain reports on call volume, service quality, and team performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication across the property.
  • Assist in resolving any technical issues related to the telephone system.
  • Promote a professional and friendly atmosphere within the team.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within telecommunications, front desk, or guest services.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of telephone systems and communication technology.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a professional appearance.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a luxury resort or hotel environment.
  • Technical knowledge of PBX or VoIP systems.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus.
