The Sales Coordinator is responsible for processing orders, preparing reports, managing and updating the division’s stock sheet and performing duties of a general nature according to established procedures.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Reporting (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly)
    • Updating AMCO order Tracker for all pending deliveries daily.
    • Updating AMCOs revenue vs budget & prior to Management Team each morning
    • Updating Sales & Marketing Team on inventory three times per week
    • Updating of Distribution Audit File weekly
    • Preparation of Divisional Analysis Weekly & Monthly on GPs & Revenue – Division/Brand/SKU/Customer
    • Prepare New Product Penetration reports weekly for Key Accounts
    • Preparation of Mobile Sales Monthly revenue trends and hit rate by route
    • Prepare individual sales team performance as needed.
  • Order Management (Operational)
    • Provide order tracker on a daily basis to the sales team.
    • Highlight all orders not delivered within two (2) days and discuss with relevant parties’ solutions to have orders delivered.
    • Support sales team with process orders where necessary
    • Support sale team with following up on orders and liaising with relevant parties to have orders delivered.
    • Support team with households/free product for customers and coordinating with warehouse and delivery.
  • Management of AMCO’s stock sheet
    • Updating of AMCOs SKU Listing by Category within 2 days of being notified by BM (Addition of New Items, Removal of Discontinued Items)
    • Ensuring ALL SKUs status are updated within 2days of being notified by BM of change (Active, Supplier Restricted, Promotional SKU)
    • Updating Inventory position on Stock Sheet three times per week
    • Ensuring SKU trends are updated once per month
  • Prepare Sales Presentations as requested by the Sales Manager and Junior Sales Manager
  • Work with Sales Managers to Develop and Analyze reports to support with informed Decision making by the Management Team

 

  • Evaluate processes within the department and make recommendations to continuously improve

 

  • Work with Sales Management Team to Identify all operational issues and develop strategies to resolve these issues identified.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree – Business Management or related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years overall sales/commercial experience (FMCG Sector)
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and specifically with Excel and Power Point.
  • Must be proactive and possess excellent communication skills.
