Vacancy – Sales Associate

Froots A.D. is a small company in the beverage industry and we are seeking to expand our portfolio. We are looking for a detail-oriented, dependable, trustworthy and self-motivated individual to join our sales team as a Part-Time Sales Associate.

This position is an entry level position catered to the sale of locally produced items to customers at our sale locations.

The current post is part time with an option of becoming full time based on the performance of the Sales Associate.

Our company allows for workers to interact with customers from various ethnicities, demographics, cultures, religions and social backgrounds.

Job Requirements:

• Applicant must be proficient in reading and writing
• Have excellent communication skills
• Must have basic proficiency in Mathematics and English
• Produce a valid police certificate of character
• Produce a valid health certificate
• Previous experience in customer service or in a related field is an asset but not required
• Be able to operate a point-of-sale machine
• Security Training

Core Responsibilities:

• Sale of products and services at retail locations, expositions, markets, special events or any other income generating event
• Recording and verifying the beginning and ending balances for both inventory and cash
• The Sales Associate is responsible for the inventory and cash that is handed over to them from their immediate Supervisor
• Greet and respond to customers in a friendly, welcoming and polite manner
• The Sales Associate should maintain a clean and tidy workspace and appearance at all times

Work Times and Days:

• Work times can range anywhere between 7am and 9pm
• Work days include Saturday, Sunday and public holidays
• A roster will be provided
