Job Purpose: The Sales Agent Card & E-Commerce position assist greatly with the sales, marketing and collaborative efforts of the B2B Sales team. He/she also supports the efficient, accurate and timely onboarding of new clients ensuring the completeness of KYC information and supports the proper use of our card systems and e-commerce platform in keeping with approved service level agreement. He/she will also assist with monitoring charge backs and fraudulent transactions in keeping with our partner agreement.

 

Major Accountabilities

  • Assist in creating and managing a contact database with relevant information.
  • Assist in card and e-commerce sales through aggressive prospecting of new customers.
  • Prioritize and schedule proactive calls to existing clients and merchants.
  • Convey product information to customers and merchants.
  • Assist with customers and merchant’s inquiries.
  • Assist & support the submission of company and merchant applications for approval.
  • To adhere to all Money Laundering, POCA and CFT guidelines while onboarding and maintaining clients. 
  • Assist with the onboarding of customers through collaborative efforts of other units.
  • Assist with charge backs and or fraudulent transactions ensuring proof documents are retrieved and escalated.
  • Investigate competitors’ activities and make recommendation to benchmark.
  • Perform any other duties, which may from time to time be assigned by the Assistant Manager or Manager Products & Sales.

 

Requirement/Specification

  • A Tertiary level Diploma in Business Administration or at least a Certificate in Sales / Business Studies.
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar capacity within a financial services industry.
  • Strong Sales Techniques, Marketing and Analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation skills
