Reporting to the Brand Sales Manager, this position provides administrative support to the automotive sales team, ensuring sales processes are carried out efficiently and promptly within a dealership environment

Stewart’s Automotive Group is seeking an experienced administrator who thrives in a dynamic team and automotive dealership environment, to fill the position of:            

 Sales Administrator-New Vehicles

 

Job Summary: Reporting to the Brand Sales Manager, this position provides administrative support to the sales team, ensuring sales processes are carried out efficiently and promptly within a dealership setting.  

The duties and responsibilities for this role will include the following:

Liaising with the Sales Team to ensure that all relevant vehicle sales documentation are prepared and submitted on a timely basis for the following processes:

  • Invoicing
  • Entry Requests
  • Clearance Requests
  • Duty and Licensing payment requests
  • All relevant licensing documents

Maintaining accurate inventory records in the Dealer Management System.

Coordinating and assisting with vehicle deliveries.

Acting as a liaison between sales staff, manufacturers and customers.

Ensuring all Sales Files are kept up to date (past and current).

Communicating with customers, financial institutions, insurance companies, Trade Board, Ministry of Finance and Planning and general follow ups.

Assisting with the achievement of sales targets as agreed on by the Brand Sales Manager.

Administering the training of sales personnel including scheduling dates.

Assisting with marketing and promotional activities for the brand.

Assisting with the transfer of vehicles from the wharf to bond to dealership.

Qualifications and competencies required for the role are:

 A minimum of an Associate degree in Business Administration or equivalent discipline

 Four or more years of work experience working in an administrative or customer service role, preferably within the   automotive industry.

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite ( Word, Excel, Outlook) and ideally, dealership management software.

 Excellent oral and written communication skills.

 Must be detailed oriented and be able to multitask and work effectively in a high-pressure environment

 Must have a valid driver’s license.
