SME Field Sales Representative

 

Purpose of the Role

                                                    

The SME Field Sales Representative is responsible for driving new and existing business. The incumbent is responsible for conducting sales activities in line with Company strategy in order to generate maximum sales revenue.

 

Main Responsibilities

 

  • Meeting or exceeding weekly, monthly and annual sales quotas as set by Management
  • Canvassing assigned territories to identify opportunities to increase market share for Flow Business
  • Generating leads and identifying prospective customers using business directories, existing customer databases, networking and other successful avenues
  • Meeting with business owners/decision makers to discover their needs and introducing Flow Business solutions to address those needs based on product features and technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations
  • Answering customers' questions about products, prices, availability and credit terms and providing quotations or other bid specifications where required
  • Negotiating prices or terms of sales or service agreements
  • Maintaining customer records using CRM system
    • Preparing sales contracts for orders obtained and submitting orders for processing
    • Maintaining a high level of knowledge about our existing products and services, alongside our competitors options in order to highlight Flow’s competitive advantage to prospective customers.
    • Providing market intelligence to Management on competitor activities and offerings, market landscape and new opportunities or avenues to grow market share for Flow Business.

Qualification and Experience

 

  • A minimum of Five (5) Ordinary Level Passes including English and Mathematics
  • A minimum of One (1) year experience in the telecommunications sales environment
