SENIOR SECRETARY

 (RESEARCH, PLANNING & RISK ASSESSMENT DEPARTMENT) 

JOB SUMMARY

 

Reporting to the Director, Research, Planning and Risk Assessment the incumbent is responsible for providing general administrative and secretarial support  to facilitate the efficient administration of various research, planning and risk assessment related activities.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma in Secretarial Studies; or
  • Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) designation from a recognised institution.
  • Three (3) years’ experience as a Secretary

KEY TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Sound knowledge of standard office procedures and practices

 

  • Sound knowledge of administrative concepts, principles and practices

 

  • Working knowledge of the Authority’s business

 

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and modern office productivity applications for communicating, planning, scheduling.

KEY NON-TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent human relations skills
  • Ability to use common modern office equipment
  • Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgement
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
  • Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
