Blinds Designs Limited is seeking a motivated, results-driven On-the-Road Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting customers at residential and commercial locations, assessing their needs, taking accurate measurements, recommending suitable window treatment solutions, preparing job details for production, and ensuring customer satisfaction from initial consultation through installation and final payment.
This role requires strong sales ability, excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting established sales targets.

1. JOB REQUIREMENTS & DUTIES As a Sales Representative you will report to the Sales Manager and your responsibilities will primarily involve but will not be limited to: • Attendance of meetings to discuss the following with sales manager: o Strategies o Targets o Approximate income figures o Locations and Appointments o New Business to approach • All appointments will be updated throughout each day (as received) which are to be assigned to each Sales Representative by the Customer Service Representatives • Communication to main office stating status of each appointment to be updated daily • All invoices must be completely settled (paid in full) to count towards target monthly • Repairs / cleaning are not included in target amount • All mistakes / additional cost are deducted from target amount • Each representative is responsible for follow ups / finalizing each job with the following: o Measuring each appointment o Installation dates / deadlines ( if applicable) o Colour options o Areas to be manufactured o Deposit collected o Invoice settled / paid o Specific details / tools / equipment needed to complete job o Quality assurance / follow ups o Possibly installing job themselves to ensure deadlines are met o Being on site for major installations • Must have full access to reliable motor vehicle • Identify potential and new clients by promoting products • Develop and foster client and networking relationships in order to retain current clients and attract new clients and assist in developing sales strategies and tactics • All measurements has to be sent to the office by whats app / uploaded to evernote by the end of each day for estimates to be generated • All job sheets are to be completed each day to begin production • All discounts have to be approved by Sales Manager • Participate actively in the company’s public relations, sales and marketing initiatives in order to help meet revenue and profitability targets • Collection of all methods of payment which is to be recorded accurately and safely stored • All methods of payments collected are your responsibility – if misplaced arrangement for repayment will have to be discussed with upper management • Sales Representative will be required to learn the technicalities and functions or each product, including but not limited to materials and accurate measurements • Sales Targets are reviewed every quarter (March, June, September and December) and are subject to change • Employee evaluations are done in December of each year and may be done as needed based on performance.
