Production Worker

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting production operations, including material handling, sanitation, inventory control and compliance with safety standards.

PRODUCTION WORKER

(Permanent)

Salary: $6,000 per month

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct daily inventory checks and ensure proper storage of raw materials and packaging
• Weigh and compound raw materials accurately as per management instructions
• Clean and sanitize production areas, warehouse and equipment in line with hygiene policies
• Assist with basic maintenance of production equipment under supervision
• Follow all food safety, GMP, HSE and sanitation procedures at all times
• Maintain organized storage of materials and finished goods
• Support overall production operations and carry out additional tasks as assigned by management

 Qualifications and Required Skills

• Minimum (5) five CXC/CSEC passes
• Technical or vocational certification in food production, manufacturing, or warehouse operations would be an asset
• Must be able to drive a manual (stick shift) panel van (mandatory requirement)
• Prior experience in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards would be an asset
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail, especially for weighing and compounding materials
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or in a team
• Willingness to work Saturdays (as required)
