Job Summary
This role ensures the accurate generation, batching, and coordination of invoices and deliveries while supervising staff to maintain efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company standards. The Routing Office Supervisor plays a critical role in optimizing delivery operations, reducing errors, and ensuring timely dispatch, while providing leadership, guidance, and performance management to the routing team.
Qualifications & Experience
High School Diploma (required)
Certification in Logistics, Supply Chain or Supervisory Management (required).
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in logistics, warehouse, or dispatch operations
MUST possess strong knowledge of Jamaica's geography.
At least three (3) years in a supervisory or leadership role is an asset
Experience in the Wines & Spirits industry is a plus
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Supervision and Team Management
Supervise, train, and support Routing Officers and assigned staff to ensure high performance and adherence to procedures.
Ensure proper staff scheduling to meet operational demand.
Invoice & Routing Oversight
Review and validate invoice checklists and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in invoicing and routing processes.
Delivery Coordination & Logistics Planning
Oversee delivery scheduling and routing to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Coordinate with truckers and logistics teams to optimize vehicle usage and route planning.
Review order sizes, tonnage, and delivery requirements to assign appropriate resources.
Interdepartmental Coordination
Liaise with customer service, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
Resolve escalated issues related to invoicing, routing, and delivery delays.
Reporting and Compliance
Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports on routing performance, errors, and delivery efficiency
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards
Investigate and report discrepancies, breaches, or operational issues with recommendations for improvement
Process Improvement
Identify inefficiencies within routing and dispatch operations and implement corrective actions
Recommend and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and accuracy
