Room Service Manager
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Room Service Manager to oversee the operations of our in-room dining department. This role ensures that all room service orders are delivered accurately, promptly, and with the highest level of guest service. The ideal candidate will lead a team, maintain service standards, ensure compliance with health and safety protocols, and contribute to a superior guest experience.
Supervise daily room service operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and guest satisfaction
Manage, train, and schedule room service staff, including servers and order takers
Ensure timely delivery of all in-room dining orders and prompt clearance of trays
Monitor food presentation, portion control, and adherence to hotel service standards
Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally and promptly
Collaborate with the kitchen, housekeeping, and front office to ensure seamless service
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in all service areas
Conduct regular inventory checks and order supplies as needed
Prepare shift reports, performance reviews, and departmental forecasts
Ensure compliance with all health and safety, food hygiene, and service regulations
Continuously seek ways to improve room service operations and enhance the guest experience
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in food & beverage or hotel room service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Experience working in a hotel or resort environment preferred
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Certification in Food Safety or Hospitality Management is an asset
Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for guest service
Valid Food Handler's Permitt.
