We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven International Sales & Market Development Manager to lead our business expansion into Spanish and Portuguese-speaking markets.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven International Sales & Market Development Manager to lead business expansion into Spanish and Portuguese-speaking markets. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years’ proven experience in sales and export markets, managing international accounts, and successfully navigating market entry strategies to deliver products into new territories. This role will focus on driving revenue growth, building lasting client relationships, and ensuring compliance with all trade regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share in assigned international territories, with a primary focus on Spanish-speaking countries.
  • Manage the full export process from market research to product delivery, ensuring compliance with international trade laws, documentation, and logistics requirements.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with distributors, agents, and key clients in target markets.
  • Negotiate and close international sales contracts, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with company objectives.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive activities, and potential business opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and product teams to meet market demands.
  • Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and provide recommendations to optimize revenue.
  • Represent the company at international trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
  • Oversee market entry assignments, ensuring the successful introduction of products into new territories.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree is an asset).
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in international sales, export markets, and market development.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing export operations and achieving sales targets.
  • Fluency in Spanish and Portuguese is required; proficiency in French is a strong asset.
  • In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, documentation, and logistics.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel internationally as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
