JOB SUMMARY:

The Regional Sales Agent is responsible for managing the sales, and servicing of, new and existing fleet and wholesale customers within a prescribed geographic region.  Each Regional Sales Agent shall be responsible for the execution of the organization’s mission within that prescribed locale. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Generate sales leads
• Visit customers and potential customers to evaluate their needs or promote products
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales reports
• Make sales presentations to prospective customers
• Coordinate sales with specific marketing programs
• Prepare and submit sales orders
• Keeping accurate customer records
• Attend sales educational meetings, events and seminars

 QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• At least High school level education with CXC passes in English & Mathematics
• At least 3 to 5 years proven working experience in Sales & Marketing 
• Excellent working knowledge of the Jamaican automotive industry; particularly of the tyre, battery and lubricant sectors
• Owns and operates a reliabe motor vehicle and Holder of a valid general driver’s license
• Self-motivated, possess initiative; a “go-getter”
• In-depth knowledge, understanding and execution of effective selling strategies and techniques
• Strong ability to build business relationships
• Highly motivated and target driven
• Solid selling, communication and negotiation skills
• Automotive Industry experience will be an asset but not a requirement
