Regional Sales Agent
JOB SUMMARY:
The Regional Sales Agent is responsible for managing the sales, and servicing of, new and existing fleet and wholesale customers within a prescribed geographic region. Each Regional Sales Agent shall be responsible for the execution of the organization’s mission within that prescribed locale.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Generate sales leads
- Visit customers and potential customers to evaluate their needs or promote products
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales reports
- Make sales presentations to prospective customers
- Coordinate sales with specific marketing programs
- Prepare and submit sales orders
- Keeping accurate customer records
- Attend sales educational meetings, events and seminars
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- At least High school level education with CXC passes in English & Mathematics
- At least 3 to 5 years proven working experience in Sales & Marketing
- Excellent working knowledge of the Jamaican automotive industry; particularly of the tyre, battery and lubricant sectors
- Owns and operates a reliabe motor vehicle and Holder of a valid general driver’s license
- Self-motivated, possess initiative; a “go-getter”
- In-depth knowledge, understanding and execution of effective selling strategies and techniques
- Strong ability to build business relationships
- Highly motivated and target driven
- Solid selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Automotive Industry experience will be an asset but not a requirement
