The Regional Director of Operations is the central execution authority for all brands and markets within the Global Brands regional portfolio.

SUMMARY

The Regional Director of Operations is the central execution authority for all brands and markets within the Global Brands regional portfolio. They are accountable for total operational performance across all brands and territories, with direct ownership of:

  • Same-store and new-store sales growth
  • Customer service and brand experience
  • Food and labor cost control
  • People leadership and retention
  • Maintenance and facilities reliability
  • Supply chain effectiveness
  • Brand consistency across all markets

The role ensures that every brand, in every island, delivers the same commercial, operational, and experiential standard.

Multi-Country Operations – St. Lucia, St. Kitts & Nevis, Jamaica

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Sales Performance & Growth

  • Own regional performance by driving same-store sales growth, new store opening readiness, and improvements in conversion, average ticket, and transactions.
  • Ensure operational execution fully supports marketing initiatives and translates into repeat customer visits.
2. Customer Service & Brand Experience
  • Ensure consistent excellence in service speed, hospitality, product quality, and store environment across all markets.
  • Implement customer experience measurement, store audits, and service recovery frameworks, holding teams accountable for service failures.
3. Food and Labor Cost
  • Own food and labor cost performance across the region by enforcing portion control, waste reduction, accurate ordering, labor standards, and rostering discipline.
  • Build store-level accountability to ensure costs are controlled, predictable, and sustainable, while driving a strong productivity culture.

4. People Leadership & Retention

  • Own leadership effectiveness, retention, and succession across all markets.
  • Strengthen Country, Area, and Store Manager capability, reduce turnover, and ensure consistent onboarding, training, and performance accountability.
  • Partner with HR to deliver effective learning and development pathways and improve training compliance.
  • Lead and evaluate Country Managers based on results, including sales growth, cost control, people stability, brand execution, and store readiness. 
  • Establish a disciplined performance rhythm through weekly reviews, monthly business reviews, scorecards, and clear issue resolution.
5Maintenance & Supply Chain 
  • Ensure stores are operationally ready every day through strong preventive maintenance, equipment uptime, and facilities standards. 
  • Lead supply chain integration within operations, ensuring forecasting accuracy, inventory availability, logistics efficiency, and cost optimization.

6. Brand Consistency Across All Markets

  • Ensure all brands deliver a consistent product, service, and environment across markets. 
  • Audit and enforce standards while managing local nuances without compromising brand integrity.

7. Marketing Alignment

  • Ensure full alignment between marketing, operations, and supply chain, validating operational readiness for campaigns, preventing stockouts, ensuring execution consistency, and measuring campaign impact beyond sales.

8. Performance 

  • Establish and lead a disciplined performance management cadence through weekly reviews, monthly business reviews, and store and country level scorecards, with clear escalation and closure mechanisms to ensure issues are resolved, not recycled.

Role Accountability

The Regional Director of Operations:

  • Owns operational performance outcomes
  • Owns supply chain execution
  • Owns resource prioritization across markets
  • Owns store readiness and operational discipline

Does not own:

  • Brand strategy
  • Creative direction
  • Brand positioning


Qualifications & Experience

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  2. Postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is an asset
  3. 10–15+ years’ senior operations leadership experience
  4. Proven track record managing multi-country, multi-brand operations
  5. Strong experience in QSR, retail, hospitality, or complex service environments
  6. Demonstrated expertise in supply chain integration and execution governance
