The RCM must live in one of the assigned Caribbean countries. The RCM oversees commercial activities to maximize available opportunities for profit generation; must develop and implement an innovative, growth focused commercial strategy, ensuring profitability and commercial success.

  • Work with the Country leads, Sales Managers and Marketing officer to deliver revenue targets
  • Understanding the value drivers of the business and identifying profitable commercial opportunities to grow revenue and market share.
  • Develop, manage and maintain an excellent understanding with the key partners and customers’/target audience to ensure that their needs are being met and that their business is retained.
  • Review existing products, services and markets and make appropriate recommendations to drive growth.
  • Work with the team to undertake market research and analysis and producing plans/recommendations (including all costs and forecasted revenue for the business), to ensure that all business development opportunities (new products, services and markets) are optimized.
  • Review and assess the potential to develop strategic partnerships with sector specialists to drive  new commercial opportunities.
  • Ensure that regular reviews are carried out with customers, to ensure that their needs are being met and that excellent customer service is achieved and, developing future improvements/services for the customers.
  • Represent the company externally to enhance and strengthen the company’s profile and optimize all business development opportunities.
  • Liaise with relevant internal departments to ensure that customer needs are met and that customer requirements are fully communicated throughout the business.
  • Maintain an awareness of external factors (including competitors, new product developments, government business initiatives, current and proposed legislation in relation to commercial activities) which impact the business. Communicating such information and any subsequent changes to the Senior Management Team (SMT).
  • Communicate with all major stakeholders (internal and external) to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure that all commercial activities meet or improve on budget, cost, volume and efficiency targets (Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)) in line with business objectives.
  • Monitor costing and pricing within the market
    • Direct and utilize agreed systems to manage the commercial activities, functions, analyzing, documenting – direct the development of plans for commercial activities, to include customer management, to achieve satisfactory targets
  • Develop and implement the commercial strategy for the business. Implement new sales strategies and ensuring departments follow industry best practice.
  • Interpret market trends and adapting to industry changes.
  • Streamline lead generation processes enabling sales teams to chase leads swiftly.
  • Analyze opportunities for growth via acquisition and performing due diligence.

 

Education and Experience        

  • An Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration or a relevant discipline. A Master’s Degree in Business, Social Sciences or a relevant discipline is a plus
  • Impressive, demonstrable track record and skills with a minimum of five (5) experience gained within a similar position(s), at a similar level.
  • Credible and confident communicator (written and verbal) at all levels.
  • Excellent presentation, project management, organizational, time management, negotiating and influencing skills
  • Gravitas, with the ability to build strong external relationships to enhance and strengthen the company’s profile.
  • Innovative with entrepreneurial flair.
  • Proven strategic aptitude and ability.
  • Tenacious and results driven with sound business judgement.
  • Passionate about achieving high levels of excellence.
  • Highly energized and motivated with a high level of commitment.

D.         WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Island-wide and overseas travel required between assigned territories;
  • Normal office environment with regular visits to partners, and to represent the Company;
  • Sometimes required to work beyond normal hours to achieve deadlines.
