Ensures completion of reports and data entry for all merchandise received at the club.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum two (2) years university-based studies in Business
  • Administration or similar areas.  Degree preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Excellent math skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems and AS400.
  • Proficient in English and/or Spanish languages (verbal and written).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Coordinate the schedule from suppliers.
  • Maintains updated inventory and registers in the system merchandise information when it enters/exits the system.
  • Register notes of credit in the system.
  • Verify that merchandise indicated on the purchase order is in accordance with the supplier's invoices.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
  • Understanding of goods receiving procedures
  • Verifying quantities against invoices, purchase orders, and delivery notes
  • Identifying discrepancies (shortages, damages, overages)
  • Accurate checking of item descriptions, codes, and quantities
  • Proper documentation of all received goods
  • Careful inspection for damages or expired items
  • Preventing costly receiving errors
  • Inventory management systems
  • Microsoft Excel for tracking deliveries
  • Email communication with vendors and internal departments
  • Keeping the receiving area paperwork orderly
  • Escalating issues such as missing documents or incorrect shipments
  • Understanding basic warehouse safety procedures
