Real Estate Asset & Facilities Manager
A leading real estate investment and property management company is seeking a results-driven Real Estate Asset & Facilities Manager to oversee its portfolio of office and industrial properties. This role combines strategic asset management with operational and facilities oversight to ensure financial performance, tenant satisfaction, and long-term asset value growth.
Develop and execute strategies to enhance property values and ROI.
Analyse financial reports including budgets, forecasts, and income statements.
Manage lease analysis, tenant mix strategies, rent escalations, and renewals.
Support acquisition, disposition, refinancing, and due diligence activities.
Oversee day-to-day property operations, ensuring compliance with leases and policies.
Manage budgets, expenses, vendors, contractors, and service providers.
Ensure high levels of tenant service and address complaints/issues effectively.
Monitor rent collections, coordinate with accounting and legal for enforcement.
Conduct regular property inspections and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.
Oversee building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety, elevators, security).
Lead preventative and corrective maintenance programmes.
Support capital improvement projects and infrastructure upgrades.
Drive sustainability, energy efficiency, and cost-saving initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in real estate asset management, property operations, or facilities management.
Strong financial and analytical skills with experience managing property-level budgets.
Knowledge of building systems, safety codes, maintenance protocols, and green initiatives.
Proficiency with property and facilities management software (Yardi, MRI, CMMS preferred).
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Supervisory experience is an asset.
Hybrid work structure with office and site visits.
On-call availability for urgent property or facilities issues.
Occasional travel across property locations.
