We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee daily business operations and ensure efficiency across departments. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving productivity, managing resources, and supporting the achievement of organizational goals. Only Guyanese nationals are eligible to apply.
Job Description:
Oversee and manage day-to-day operational activities across departments.
Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery.
Monitor KPIs, budgets, and operational performance to ensure targets are met.
Coordinate with department heads to streamline workflows and resolve operational challenges.
Manage resource allocation, including staff, equipment, and materials.
Ensure compliance with company standards, health & safety regulations, and legal requirements.
Lead, mentor, and develop team members to enhance performance and accountability.
Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Represent the company professionally with clients, partners, and stakeholders when required.
Education and Qualification Requirements:
Must be a Guyanese national.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or related field (Master’s Degree would be an asset).
5+ years of experience in operations management, logistics, manufacturing, or a related area, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of operational processes, resource management, and performance monitoring.
Proven leadership and people management skills.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP or operations software is an advantage.
High level of integrity, adaptability, and results orientation.
