The Raw Material Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all operations related to the receipt, storage, inventory accuracy and issuance of raw materials to the Production department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Planning, Receiving & Scheduling
1. Planning & Coordination: Plan and schedule the receiving activities for all incoming raw material shipments, including both Local and Foreign/International Shipments, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal disruption to daily
operations.
2. Documentation Control: Verify all incoming goods against purchase orders and shipping documentation for accuracy
and completeness.
Inventory Management & System Integrity
3. ERP System Management: Ensure all receiving, movements and transfers are accurately and live updated within the ODOO ERP system to maintain real-time inventory visibility and accuracy.
4. Location Management: Ensure all raw materials are stored in their proper, designated warehouse locations following
FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) or other inventory rotation protocols.
5. Returns Processing: Supervise the checking, documentation, and placement of returned raw materials into stock from the Production department.
Production Support & Issuance
6. Fulfilment: Take responsibility for efficiently executing the process of getting goods picked, staged and transferred to
the Production department based on formal requisitions.
7. Accuracy Check: Ensure the correct quantity and type of raw materials are issued to Production to prevent line
stoppages or material shortages.
Quality & Compliance
8. GMP Adherence: Ensure the entire raw material warehouse operation, practices and strictly adheres to Good
Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards for sanitation/cleanliness, material handling, storage conditions, allergen
control and pest control.
9. Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with all company safety protocols and
procedures. Ensure proper operation of material handling equipment.
Staff Supervision & Leadership
10. Team Leadership: Directly supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure high performance, adherence to
SOPs, and proper execution of all duties.
11. Performance Management: Conduct daily briefings, assign tasks, monitor productivity and address any performance
or disciplinary issues within the team.
Qualifications:
• Diploma or Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related field or
• CIPS (Certification in Procurement and Supply -Diploma/Advance level 3 and above)
Experience:
• Relevant experience in Warehouse/Logistics as a Warehouse Supervisor with at least 5 years’ experience or experience
with ERP System
• A comprehensive understanding of Supply Chain fundamentals and Warehouse Operations.
