RTA Assembler/Parts Specialist

PURPOSE:

To assemble all display stock at assigned company locations and at customers’ homes in keeping with company procedures and assembly manuals

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Assembles and merchandises all products requiring assembly as needed according to stores’ range plans.
• Assembles products in customers’ homes and rectifies customer issues as required.
• Reports on quality issues with regard to product and assembly manuals.
• Inspects all products on display when they arrive at the Warehouse to ensure all parts are included accurate.
• Repairs products with damaged/missing parts as required.
• Maintains all assigned tools to ensure continued efficient use.
• Liaises and visits stores as needed to ensure products are accurately assembled.
• Performs any other related duties as requested.

JOB SPECIFICATION

QUALIFICATION/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Three  (3)  GCE/CXC/CSEC  Ordinary  level  passes  including  Mathematics  and  English Language.
• Three (3) years’ experience in a customer service-oriented organization.
• Experience in joinery would be an asset.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to assemble ready to assemble goods.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate.
• Must be able to cope well in a stress-related environment.
