Core Responsibilities
- Responsible for the store aesthetics, inventory and a team of customer service representatives.
- Receive monthly/annual sales target and performance objectives from the National Retail Stores manager.
- Plan and execute sales strategies with team. Supervise daily team activities ensuring that sales and cash received are reconciled and any discrepancies addressed.
- Target customers, build and retain relationships by providing excellent customer service. Respond to customers’ concerns effectively.
- Order and receive goods from the Distribution department, ensuring order placed matches the quantity received. Immediately report any discrepancies.
- Maintain current inventory records and conduct weekly stock counts. Report any variance immediately to the Group Inventory Manager.
- Market and promote the company’s products and ensure effective merchandising.
- Prepare daily lodgments and generate daily sales reports for management.
Desired Knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of retail operations or sales.
- Management degree
- Competent user of Microsoft/strong inventory management system knowledge.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, inventory and cash management.
- Excellent human relations and supervisory skills.
- Flexible to work on weekends.
- Driver’s license will be an asset.
