RESORT SHOP MANAGER
The Resort Shop Sales Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the gift shop, which include but is not limited to customer service, inventory management, staff management, buying and merchandising, and record keeping.
Applicants should satisfy the following criteria:
- Managing day-to-day operations to achieve and exceed financial targets
- Preparing budgets and monitoring expense analyses results to maintain profitability. Takes corrective action as needed
- Identifies guest needs and takes action to fulfill their needs
- Maintaining inventory, reordering, and restocking
- Reviewing buying trends, demand, and pricing levels.
- Developing marketing plans to meet the unique needs of the guests.
- Creating exit strategies for slow-moving stock whilst maintaining financial ratios.
- A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role
- A Degree in Management or Sales would be considered an asset
- Excellent Written & Verbal Communication
