RECRUITER (6-MONTH CONTRACT)

Location: Port-of-Spain

Qualifications & Required Skills

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in recruitment and human resource functions
  • Solid understanding of local labor laws and industrial relations (IR) practices
  • Proficient in using job boards, social media platforms, and applicant tracking systems
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism

 Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide timely, high-quality recruitment services to clients
  • Execute the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screenings and reference checks
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify job requirements and ideal candidate profiles
  • Maintain and update recruitment databases with accurate candidate and process information
  • Prepare service contracts, quotations, and related employment documents
  • Support HR functions such as preparing job letters and managing leave requests
  • Manage onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with pre-employment documentation
  • Assist with industrial relations issues as needed, in line with company policy and labor laws
  • Perform general administrative support tasks as required
