The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of HR Generalist services to customers inclusive of but not limited to Recruitment and Selection, Employee and Industrial Relations, Talent Development and Employee Engagement.

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of HR Generalist services to customers inclusive of but not limited to Recruitment and Selection, Employee and Industrial Relations, Talent Development and Employee Engagement.  

Job Responsibilities: 

  1. Proactively engages in Recruitment to ensure that the required resources are available to internal customers as needed.
  2. Ensures the Orientation and Induction of new employees entering the organization.
  3. Works with customer teams to develop in-year training plans arising out of the Performance Management process; provides support for and monitors the implementation of these plans.
  4. Provides coaching and support to internal customers on Industrial Relations matters ensuring that due process is followed; advises department heads on employment regulations and standards.
  5. Acts as the key point of contact for individual team members on employee relations matters.
  6. Supports customers in developing action plans to continuously improve employee engagement, motivation and retention.
  7. Facilitates employee status changes ensuring that due process is followed.
  8. Contributes to the preparation of the Monthly HR Report and other HR reports that may be required.
  9. Ensures that the Company’s HRIS is kept current and accurate.
  10. 10. Provides guidance on HR Policies and Procedures interpretation and application.

 Qualifications/Experience: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline
  • At least three (3) years HR generalist experience
  • Proven Industrial Relations experience and knowledge of Labour Laws are essential for this position.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to navigate Microsoft Excel.
