The Manager, Human Resources will contribute to the success of Aegis by driving the company forward as an employer of choice through the development and implementation of people strategies that support the company’s business needs and long term strategic goals.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Form collaborative relationships with the leadership team in order to execute talent strategies and efforts to support the strategic objectives of the company.
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process to ensure effective talent pipelines are developed and that top talent is hired aligned with the company's values.
  • Manage the performance management system to ensure focus on employee’s efforts on the achievement of business goals and attainment of requisite skills/competencies to sustain profitable growth.
  • Provide coaching and support to employees and the leadership team in the creation of robust development plans that meet succession and development needs.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning by identifying training needs and develop/ source comprehensive training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Manage all disciplinary and grievance processes while ensuring fairness and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement people and culture strategies to enhance employee engagement, well-being and the creation of a strong employer brand.
  • Continuously manage HR Digitalization to ensure efficient, automated and data driven operations within the department.
  • Continuously review and update internal policies, procedures and SOPs in line with current best practices.
  • Implement meaningful compensation and benefits packages that incentivize and retain employees.
  • Oversee the monthly payroll process.
  • Research the latest developments in management, leadership and organisation development areas and keep abreast to serve as a subject matter expert regarding critical people issues.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources
  • Masters Degree in Human Resources would be an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS 
  • 4-5 years in an HR Managerial role
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
