Job Summary

The Quality Control Officer is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and proposing measures to correct or improve the final products and processes to meet established quality standards. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that the company’s products meet internal and external requirements, including regulatory compliance and customer expectations.

Key Functions:

• Conduct regular inspections and tests of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications before release.
• Document and report inspection results accurately and timely.
• Identify quality issues and work with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain and calibrate quality control equipment and tools.
• Assist in developing, revising, and implementing quality control procedures and policies.
• Participate in internal and external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, HACCP, GMP).
• Collect and analyze quality data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train production staff on quality control procedures and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
• Report any deviations or non-conformances to the Quality Manager promptly. 

Minimum Requirement & Competencies:

•   Diploma or bachelor’s degree in quality management, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•   Proven experience in a quality control or quality assurance role.
•  Knowledge of quality control standards and regulatory requirements relevant to the industry.
•  Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
•  Proficient in using MS Office and quality management software.
•   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
