Warehouse Coordinator job entails the daily execution of warehousing and inventory-related transactions (physically and systematically) ensuring proper handling, storage, and preservation of stocks. This includes retrieving, stacking, verifying, coordinating, executing transfers, and issuing stocks.
Accurate and timely processing of all forward logistics inventory-related activity. That is:
PLANNING & ORGANIZING: Maintains housekeeping standards including replenishment, organizing, and consolidation of short fill pallets, repair of damaged cases, and transfer of items off pallets identified as'damaged'.
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT: Supports effective inventory management and control for increased delivery effectiveness, efficiency, and accurate financial reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Diploma in operations Mgmt. Business Administration/Management Studies/Supply Chain Professional qualifications.
• 2-3 years relevant experience in a warehouse environment.
• Knowledgeable of an Inventory Management system – (Examples - SAP, ORACLE etc)
