QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the quality assurance function, ensuring products meet established standards of excellence and regulatory requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure department is staffed and functions efficiently
• Ensure all raw material is received and meets standards
• Ensure all packaging material being received meets required specifications
• Monitor and ensure product fill weight is in accordance with guidelines
• Monitor date codes for accuracy
• Test and keep records of retained samples
• Execute product recall if needed
• Ensure proper storage conditions of all raw/packaging material
• Maintain strict quality control practices
• Oversee product development and implementation of all food safety certificates

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of a Diploma in Natural Sciences or a related discipline
• Minimum of two years' experience in a manufacturing company (preferably in the food manufacturing industry)
• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices
• Knowledge of HACCP
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Must be able to work extended hours and on Saturdays
