QA/QC Engineer

Responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of construction projects.

Namalco Construction Services Limited is seeking a qualified and highly skilled QA/QC Engineer to join our team to ensure our projects continue to meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The requirements for this job is as follows:

- An updated CV (Curriculum Vitae).

- A minimum of two professional references (from employers or academic mentors).

- A copy of your Bachelor's Degree.

- 3-5 years of experience in quality control/quality assurance within the construction industry.

Qualifications and Skills

 - A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or any other related field.

- Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software.

- Experience with quality testing methods and procedures (e.g. material testing and inspection techniques).

- In-depth knowledge of construction materials, processes and industry standards.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Abiilty to work independently and as part of a team.

- Collaboration with other departments in the company to ensure smooth execution of projects.

- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes and standards.

- Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to monitor quality and safety.

- Review design and construction documents to identify potential quality issues and ensure adherence to project requirements.

- Co-ordinate and manage the testing and inspection of materials and works.

- Work closely with the project management team and other engineers to address any quality concerns or non-compliance issues. 

- Prepare and maintain detailed reports of inspections and corrective actions.

- Assist with the preparation of project documentation and maintain accurate records.

- Ensure that all construction work is carried out in accordance with company policies, safety, quality and environmental standards.
