VACANCY – PURCHASING MANAGER

Chase Distributors Limited is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate to fill the position of a Purchasing Manager.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Purchasing Manager will be responsible for the execution of the following duties:

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and coordination of the organization’s purchasing operations.
• Conduct analysis of a target market to identify and get the best purchasing deals.
• Conduct analysis of patterns and inventory levels of existing stock in order to take key procurement decisions.
• Create and maintain an up-to-date supplier/vendor database.
• Carry out market analysis to determine future product availability.
• Direct and supervise the activities of purchasing agents.
• Support other functions as assigned.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

Education & Experience

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or relevant field
• 5 to 7 years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent organizational skills
• Computer literacy
• Strong networking skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Strong time management skills
• Strong analytical skills
