Salary Scale:

Commensurate with qualifications and experience

Accountability:

Reports to the Managing Director through the Retail Store Manager

Nature & Scope:

Responsible for the supervision of warehouse operations and ensures operation excellence in the Warehouse by providing leadership to the Warehouse Team, coordinating the allocation and storages of resources, promoting a safe work environment; assists with directing team members to complete tasks such as receiving, loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting products to fill orders to replenish our stores.

This position is responsible for the supervision of Warehouse Supervisors, Associates/ personnel, forklift operators, inventory, shipping and receiving Sales Associates.

 

Major Responsibilities, Tasks and Duties:

  1. Ensures that merchandise is received and stored in an efficient and economical manner; maintains required records in conformance with company policy.
  2. Reviews invoices, confirms reports and monitors the distribution of products.
  3. Ensures proper routing, loading, filling back-orders, and preparing orders for delivery.
  4. Safeguards inventory assets of CTL; maintains the integrity of all transactions and maintains overall inventory accuracy.
  5. Monitors workflow, work completed, error rates and takes appropriate action when required; troubleshoots discrepancies by consulting with department heads as necessary.
  6. Responsible for the safety, security, and maintenance of the Warehouse facility.
  7. Ensures the timely and accurate completion of all customer and inventory transactions.
  8. Ensures timely resolution to all customer concerns and complaints.
  9. Ensures that all procedures are observed, implemented, and enforced; provides training when necessary for the processing of all transactions.
  10. Trains, coaches, mentors, and conducts performance appraisals of Warehouse employees.
  11. Maintains positive employee relations and morale while enforcing discipline as required.
  12. Ensures a safe working environment and usage of proper safety gear and adherence to all safety procedures and programs.
  13. Keeps all equipment in good working order, supervising and scheduling maintenance of company delivery vehicles.
  14. Interfaces with department Managers/Supervisors to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with various departments.    

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or the equivalent
  • Five (5) years’ experience in related field.

  • Knowledge of computerized inventory and tracking system (EPICOR)
  • Knowledge of equipment safety standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Exceptional customer service, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent oral, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to understand, create, and implement a budget
