Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about supply chain operations? ANSA McAL Chemicals Ltd. is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to support our logistics team and ensure efficient procurement processes that keep our operations running smoothly.
About the Role
As a Purchasing Clerk, you will play a key role in executing the full purchasing cycle—from processing purchase orders to coordinating shipments and maintaining supplier relationships. Your work will directly contribute to operational continuity, cost control, and vendor reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage purchase orders for local and international suppliers
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs)
- Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records for audit readiness
- Liaise with vendors, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders
- Resolve invoice discrepancies, returns, and credit issues
- Support supplier onboarding and evaluation processes
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 CXC/GCE O’ Levels including English and Mathematics
- Certificate in Supply Management or equivalent
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Working knowledge of procurement processes and best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (D365 is an asset)

Work Environment
This is an office-based role involving frequent interaction with internal departments and external vendors, with occasional visits to logistics or supplier locations.
