Core Functions

  • Write clear, compelling content across formats — speeches, talking points, press releases, executive messages, presentations, scripts, campaign copy, digital content, and social copy.
  • Develop and execute PR plans for brands, business units, sponsorships, and major projects.
  • Manage media relations by maintaining strong journalist relationships and preparing briefing notes, Q&As, media kits, and interview support materials.
  • Support crisis and issues communication, including rapid-response messaging, holding statements, internal updates, and scenario planning.
  • Deliver multichannel communication across owned, earned, and paid platforms, working with teams across the organisation to ensure accuracy, alignment, and compliance.
  • Track media coverage and campaign performance, providing insights that guide communication strategies and content development.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in  Marketing, Communications English, Journalism or any other related discipline.
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in PR, content creation, or copywriting — preferably within an agency, newsroom, or financial-services environment.
  • A strong writing portfolio.
