Public Procurement Administrative Assistant (GMG/AM 2) – Salary Range: $1,711,060.00 - $2,301,186.00 per annum.

JOB PURPOSE:

Under the supervision of the Director Public Procurement, the Public Procurement Administrator is responsible for providing full administrative and secretarial support to the Branch, including being the first point of contact, records management, preparation of documents and reports and management of incoming and outgoing documents. The incumbent is also responsible for arranging and coordinating meetings.

           

MAIN FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Coordinate Reports
  • Maintain Records
  • Disseminate incoming and outgoing documents
  • Coordinate meetings
  • Organizing purchasing documents
  • Channel purchase requisitions and prepare purchase orders
  • Receive, screen and direct calls
  • Liaise with the Finance & Accounts Department on procurement processes and procedures

 

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES

  • Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite and adaptability to other technological applications.
  • Report writing and minute taking and transcribing skills
  • Knowledge of procurement policies and procedures

REQUIRED EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE:

  • Diploma in Business Administration, management Studies, Accounting or another related field
  • At least one (1) year working experience in the related field
