C.R.A.V.E. Manufacturing and Distribution Ltd, authorized distributor of Continental Baking Company Limited, is seeking to recruit a Promotions Coordinator to plan, coordinate, supervise and evaluate all sales and corporate promotional activities.
The role ensures seamless execution of in-store, on-the-ground, digital and trade promotions while maintaining brand consistency and maximizing return on promotional investments.
Core Functions
Promotion Planning & Execution
- Coordinate, attend and supervise agreed promotional events and activations (in-store, trade and corporate).
- Review promotional requests from various departments to ensure alignment with sales objectives and brand strategy.
- Develop promotional activity plans in keeping with approved marketing calendars.
- Ensure all activities are executed in accordance with brand standards and Company guidelines.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare budgets for all promotional engagements and secure timely approvals.
- Monitor promotional expenditures to ensure adherence to approved budgets.
- Ensure cost-effective utilization of promotional resources and materials.
People Management
- Identify and recommend promoters who align with the Company’s brand image and values.
- Ensure promoters are properly briefed, trained, appropriately attired and adequately resourced.
- Supervise promoters during activations to ensure professional representation of the brand.
Retail & Market Intelligence
- Maintain and update an active database of retail outlets, incorporating product movement data and sales trends.
- Align promotional investments with historical sales performance and growth opportunities.
- Conduct market visits to evaluate execution standards and gather customer and retailer feedback.
Inventory & Promotional Materials Management
- Organize and maintain promotional supplies, tokens and branded materials in the correct quantity and quality.
- Coordinate distribution and tracking of promotional materials.
- Ensure adequate stock levels to support scheduled activities.
Reporting & Performance Evaluation
- Prepare and submit timely, accurate reports on promotional activities.
- Provide clear observations, sales trends and actionable recommendations.
- Evaluate promotional effectiveness and recommend improvements to drive sales growth.
General & Administrative Duties
- Support the Marketing Department with related administrative tasks as required.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time in support of departmental objectives.
Minimum Requirement: Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Minimum qualification of Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
- At least three (3) years’ experience in a similar promotions, marketing or trade marketing role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in record keeping.
- Excellent human relations, communication, time management, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain an orderly and efficient workspace.
- Highly professional, ethical and of integrity.
- Required to work on weekends and public holidays, to meet operational demands.
