About the JN Financial Academy:
The JN Financial Academy is a key initiative of the JN Group, designed to help members take control of their financial future. It delivers financial education, coaching, and public engagement to raise awareness, shift behaviours, and promote financial empowerment.

 

About the Role
JN Foundation is seeking a Project Officer to support the day-to-day operations of the JN Financial Academy, the JN Group’s flagship financial literacy initiative. This role is responsible for coordinating sessions, supporting implementation, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and managing reporting and budgeting to ensure timely, efficient, and impactful programme delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate financial education sessions and maintain a master training schedule
  • Liaise with facilitators, volunteers, suppliers, and training participants
  • Monitor shared inboxes and respond to requests related to financial literacy education
  • Support budget planning and manage documentation for procurement and payments
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports
  • Generate internal awareness and staff engagement across subsidiaries
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications to promote Academy offerings
  • Maintain accurate trackers, feedback loops, and risk registers

 

 

What Success Looks Like

  • All activities delivered on time, within scope and budget
  • Reporting is timely, accurate, and actionable
  • Stakeholder and participant satisfaction is consistently high
  • Academy initiatives are visible and actively supported across the JN Group

 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a development, education, or project-based environment
  • Project Management certification is an asset

 

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-based environment
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration tools
  • Comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels
  • Self-driven and able to take initiative in moving projects forward
