We are looking for a Project Officer

Position Summary

The Project Officer supports the successful delivery of H&L’s project portfolio by assisting on large-scale initiatives and leading smaller projects independently. This role plays a key part in strengthening project governance while working closely with experienced operational teams across the business.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain project documentation including RAID logs, project charters, and change requests
  • Monitor timelines and flag risks or delays to the Project Manager
  • Prepare status reports and executive dashboards
  • Facilitate meetings and track action items to completion
  • Manage small projects from initiation to completion
  • Define scope, timelines, and resource requirements
  • Engage stakeholders and ensure alignment and delivery within scope
  • Coordinate internal teams and vendors
  • Assist with system and process rollouts, including on-site coordination
  • Support go-live activities and end-user readiness
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and capture lessons learned

 

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, IT, or related field
  • 2–5 years’ experience in a project environment
  • Experience supporting large projects and managing smaller initiatives
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira, Asana) and Microsoft Office
