Looking for a Production Associate to fill a vacant role.

Job Summary

The Production Associate supports the daily manufacturing operations of a concrete block production facility. This role is responsible for assisting with the production, handling, and quality control of concrete blocks while ensuring all safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the production of concrete blocks using block-making machines and related equipment

  • Prepare raw materials (cement, sand, aggregates) according to production requirements

  • Load and unload blocks from machines, pallets, and curing areas

  • Inspect finished blocks for defects and report quality issues to the supervisor

  • Stack, package, and prepare blocks for storage or dispatch

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production floor and work areas

  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including proper use of PPE

  • Assist with basic machine cleaning and routine maintenance

  • Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of secondary school education preferred

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or block-making is an asset

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods

  • Basic understanding of workplace safety practices

  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail

Working Conditions

  • Factory/plant environment with exposure to dust, noise, and heavy machinery

  • May require shift work, overtime, or weekend hours based on production demands

  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory
